Culminis is now GITCA
Following consultation with the members of the NEW organization, Culminis has been renamed to Global IT Community Association (GITCA).
As of December 1st, 2009 all reference to the organization will be under the new name. During the last year’s transition from a Corporation to a fully volunteer organization, it was felt that a name change was necessary to complete the cycle and begin anew. The primary values and aims of the volunteer organization have not changed and we eagerly look forward to serving your needs in the future.
This name was chosen because:
It is descriptive of our geographic coverage, our “customers” and our objective of bringing people together for mutual benefit It can be shortened to GITCA for easy recognition GITCA lends itself to a short memorable domain name such as www.gitca.org which can now be used to access this site
This name change presents an excellent opportunity to take the learning from the past and combine that with fresh, bright ideas from the volunteers and the community as a whole to move forward with purpose and determination to benefit all. The new logo for GITCA is
